After having accepted the market orientation based on the principles of free entrepreneurship, Bosnia and Herzegovina is taking an active part in the global economic integration movements and connecting with the world.
At the same time, Bosnia and Herzegovina is bringing in accordance the norms and standards with European Union, World Trade Organisation and other significant institutions in the domain of international trade and co-operation.

During the after-war period, thousands of new private companies have been established, privatisation process is in the course, stability of its currency (Konvertible Marka - KM) makes possible its openness toward the world making so the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina a prospective business partner to a number of countries.

Through the presented review of excerpts from the law regulations, the Chamber of Economy wishes to get acquainted in a simplified and practicable way the present and potential business partners with more relevant regulations on foreign trade transactions.
