The Water and Sewage Utility of Bar intends to prequalify firms for the following contract under this project: “Water Supply and Sanitation Adriatic Coast III – Bar”. Hereby ViK Bar receives support through Vodacom, the Joint Service and Coordination Company for Water and Waste Water Service for the Montenegrin Coast and the Municipality of Cetinje.
This contract will be jointly financed by the Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau and the Municipality of Bar. The eligibility rules and procedures of KfW will govern the prequalification and the bidding process.
SCOPE:
Construction of coastal sewer and water supply pipeline
The scope of work contains:
Sewer pipes, water supply pipes, manholes, civil engineering structures, preparation of the execution and workshop drawings, as built documentation for
1. Construction of the pipeline to connect the reservoir Susanj 1 to the regional water supply system of 550m in length (DN400), and
2. Rehabilitation of coastal sewer in Bar of about 860 m in length (DN600).
The contract is based on the “Conditions of Contract, for Construction for Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer”, the FIDIC Red Book.
Construction period: Approx. 2 months incl. mobilisation period
Defects liability period: 12 months

Only bidders with a turnover of at least 800.000 Euro per year over the last 3 years shall apply for these Tender documents.
The Tender documents in English language can be purchased from the Project Executing Agency (Vodacom, Tivat/ Montenegro) for a price of 800 Euro (eight hundred Euro) against presentation of the respective payment slip (fax or email to both e-mail addresses below).
The method of payment will be by bank transfer to the Accounts:

The Tender documents will be available from 12.02.2010 to 01.03.2010. Tender submission date is 15.03.2010.
