JOINT PRESS RELEASE
On 24.11.2025 (Monday), starting at 11:00, in the parking area of the Bingo Shopping Center (BTC) in Živinice (address: Prva ulica bb, Živinice, BiH), owned by the company „Bingo“ d.o.o. Tuzla, the ceremonial opening and commissioning of the first fast charging station for electric vehicles was held, the construction and installation of which was co-financed by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport through a Public Call for the allocation of earmarked funds collected on the basis of fees for performed vehicle technical inspections.
This project represents a capital transfer to private companies and entrepreneurs, with the aim of co-financing the construction and installation of charging stations for charging road vehicles powered by electricity for public use in the Tuzla Canton area.

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport is a pioneer in co-financing the installation of fast charging stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of the project is to ensure acceptable coverage of the Tuzla Canton territory with fast charging stations for electric vehicles available to the public over the next five years.
In 2025, as the first year of implementation, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport will co-finance the installation of three fast charging stations with six charging points at three locations:
• TC Bingo, Živinice – which was ceremonially opened today
• TC Etna, Gračanica
• TC Zeka-comerc, Gračanica
Total project value: 171,500.61 KM
Ministry co-financing: 74,996.54 KM (43.73%)
The project of building a DC charging station in the parking area of TC Bingo Živinice is worth 54,673.11 KM, of which the Ministry co-finances 24,996.54 KM (45.72%).
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport will continue implementing this significant project in the coming years, with the aim of enabling the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles and contributing to sustainable transport in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Statement by the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Transport Almir Žilić:
„By opening the first fast charging station for electric vehicles in Živinice, we are taking an important step towards modernizing transport infrastructure and developing sustainable mobility in Tuzla Canton. The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport will continue to invest in such projects so that we can provide citizens with an accessible and environmentally friendly alternative in transport, and ensure that our canton becomes a leader in energy transition and green technologies.
With this act, we show that Tuzla Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina are following modern trends in transport and energy. This project is the result of the strategic commitment of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport to support the development of infrastructure that will enable citizens to switch to more environmentally friendly solutions and thus contribute to reducing air pollution and preserving the environment.
Our goal is to ensure a network of fast charging stations across the entire canton over the next five years, so that electric vehicle drivers have safe and accessible support in everyday use. This is only the first step – three charging stations will be installed this year, and we plan to continue expanding and strengthening capacities.
The Ministry will continue to be a reliable partner to private companies and entrepreneurs in the implementation of such projects, because we believe that only through joint efforts can we build a modern, sustainable and competitive economy. Fast charging stations are not just technical infrastructure – they are a symbol of our readiness to embrace innovation, accelerate the energy transition and offer citizens a better standard of living.“
Statement by the Director of Bingo d.o.o., Adnan Delalić:
„At Bingo, we are proud to open today the first fast charging station for electric vehicles in our area in Živinice, thereby confirming our commitment to modernizing services and sustainable mobility.
The installation of the MOON POWER DC charging station with a power of 50 kW represents an important step towards creating a modern and environmentally responsible environment for our customers and all visitors. We thank the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport of TK for its support and joint engagement in the implementation of this project.
We believe that the fast charging station will significantly improve the experience of electric vehicle drivers and contribute to the further development of infrastructure in our region. Statement by the representative of Moon Power BiH – Porsche BH, Tarik Šabanović:
„We are very pleased that today, after the installation of fast charging stations in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Mostar and Bijeljina, we are officially putting into operation the fast Moon electric charging station of 50 kW in Živinice, in the vicinity of the Bingo shopping center.
This project is the result of successful cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport of TK and the company Bingo, who recognized the importance of developing sustainable mobility and modern energy solutions.
Our mission is to provide electric vehicle drivers with reliable, accessible and fast infrastructure throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, and this charging station represents another step toward that goal. I thank the partners for their trust and support, and I wish citizens to enjoy a simpler, cleaner and more modern way of traveling.
