Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and the Regional Chamber of Economy of the Zlatibor Administrative District, is organizing a two-day international conference „WASTE – A RESOURCE for the development of the circular economy“, which will be held on 08 and 09 December 2025 in Podgorica.
Due to a change in the organizational plan, the conference has been moved from the originally announced date of 04–05 December to the new date – 08 and 09 December 2025.
This important regional event will bring together leaders of the green transition, decision-makers, experts, institutes, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, public utility companies, representatives of the non-governmental sector and the media, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience on sustainable resource and waste management.
Circular economy – the key to sustainable development
The conference will be dedicated to promoting the circular economy as an innovative model that enables:

rational use of resources,

extension of product life cycles,

reduction of waste volume.
Through presentations, panels and expert discussions, national and regional examples of good practice will be presented, as well as current initiatives contributing to the goals of the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP).
