The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, in cooperation with ADSALE Group and partners from China, organized a visit of a business delegation to the International Fair of Machinery and Equipment for Wood Processing and Furniture Production – WMF 2025, which was held from 9 to 12 September 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre, Hongqiao, Shanghai, PR China.
Faced with challenges in the home furnishing industry, the WMF fair brought together experts and manufacturers of wood processing and furniture production machinery, dedicated to leading the industry toward progress, spearheading intelligent and innovative furniture manufacturing technology for the home.
Representatives of a total of 13 companies, led by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, had the opportunity during the fair to get acquainted with new technologies and their application in the furniture production process.
The second day of the fair was reserved for networking and presenting partners who, for the first time, through an organized visit, attended the WMF fair. The representative of the Industry and Services Sector of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, Jasmina Zejnilagić, spoke about the potentials and needs of the industry in BiH, as well as the possibilities for improving the development of the wood sector.
Through the PKFBiH promotional video, the present representatives of the partners and the delegation, in addition to economic and industrial parameters, had the opportunity to see and get acquainted with the natural riches as well as the tourist beauties offered by Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the fair, expert lectures were also held, focusing on innovation and process automation. Throughout the stay, the Bosnian and Herzegovinian delegation had operational and logistical support from the fair organizers and the Chamber, for which all delegation representatives are deeply grateful. Numerous contacts were established, which will in the coming period result in new business connections and stronger cooperation.
