The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is organizing a focus group on the topic “Green and gender-responsive public procurement: Opportunities and challenges of applying criteria in the practice of contracting authorities in BiH”.
The event will be held on 20 November 2025 at the Hollywood hotel in Sarajevo, starting at 10:00 a.m..
The aim of the focus group is to exchange experiences and examples of good practice between representatives of contracting authorities and bidders, with special emphasis on the application of green and gender-responsive criteria in public procurement. The focus is on identifying the opportunities, challenges and benefits that such an approach brings to improving the transparency and sustainability of procurement procedures.
Participants will have the opportunity, through open discussion, to contribute to the creation of recommendations for the further application of these principles in practice, thereby strengthening responsible consumption and supporting the sustainable development of the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
