At the Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 18.03.2025, a workshop titled “1FUTURE platform – The link between the business sector and the academic community for a sustainable future” was held as part of the activities within the 1FUTURE project. The workshop was organized by the College “CEPS-Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, the University of Tuzla, and the Risk Management Association AZUR. The workshop was attended by a large number of representatives of companies from various sectors, representatives of city administration, non-governmental organizations, as well as professors and students. Through presentations and discussions, participants had the opportunity to become acquainted with the goals of the 1FUTURE project, the functionalities of the 1FUTURE platform, and the work of the Climate and Sustainability Knowledge Center (KHCS).
Special focus was placed on the importance of cooperation and networking between the academic community and the business sector as a key step toward sustainable development. Participants actively took part in an open discussion, sharing experiences and proposing concrete ideas for future cooperation. The 1FUTURE platform was recognized as an innovative tool for knowledge exchange, connecting participants, and implementing sustainable initiatives.
This workshop marked a significant step toward strengthening the partnership between the academic and business sectors, with the aim of joint action in the areas of sustainability and climate change.
