Training on “State Aid – legal obligations of the provider and recipient of state aid” held

Today, a training titled “State Aid – legal obligations of the provider and recipient of state aid” was held at the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, organized by WYG EU and the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to become more familiar with the concept of state aid in the EU and BiH, with special emphasis on BiH’s obligations in the context of the start of accession negotiations with the EU. Key topics were covered, including the state aid system in BiH compared with EU rules (obligations of business entities receiving state aid) and state aid for energy and energy efficiency through examples of public calls for business entities.

Participants were introduced to the latest regulations and innovative solutions that offer answers to current challenges, as well as clear guidelines for sustainable development.

The training was led by:

– Radmila Mihić, key expert of the project “EU support to state aid legislation in BiH”;

– Ozren Fućak, key expert of the project “EU support to state aid legislation in BiH”

This training was a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices among business entities, as well as to ask questions and clarify any doubts regarding the topic of state aid.
