Dear Sir/Madam,
We inform the business community that the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska, and with technical support from the Swiss Export Promotion Programme (SIPPO), is organizing workshops on the topic:
“Compliance with EUDR – the regulation on deforestation and forest degradation”.
The European Union Deforestation Regulation and Forest Degradation Regulation No. 2023/1115 is a key EU law for reducing the EU’s contribution to deforestation and forest degradation worldwide. EUDR was created by improving the requirements of EUTR (European Timber Regulation 995/2010), whereby the validity of the EUTR directive in certain cases lasts until 31 December 2028.
The application of EUDR begins on 30 December 2025.
All companies registered in the European Union, when importing, exporting or trading in the EU, must comply with the requirements of the Regulation. Compliance of European companies requires adherence to the Regulation for all suppliers of wood and wood products all the way to the source – the forest.
For exporters of wood and wood products from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU, this practically means that compliance with the Regulation must be confirmed before the goods are exported, so that the goods can even be sent to the EU border. The aim of the workshop is to provide the necessary information and practical advice to export-oriented companies on adapting to this Regulation, so that they can respond in time to the requirements of customers in the EU market.
The workshops will be held according to the following schedule:

20 November 2025, at 10:30 – premises of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kneza Domagoja 12 street, Mostar

27 November 2025, at 11:00 – premises of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Bijeljina, Stefana Dečanskog bb street, Bijeljina
The workshop is intended for companies in the wood industry and forestry, as well as producers and processors from the agriculture and food industry sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. actors in the export value chain of these sectors to the European Union market.
