The ROBONETCBC project, in which the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH is a partner together with Å ibenik-Knin County, RuÄ‘er BoÅ¡ković Institute, Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor – University of Montenegro and the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, was presented and meetings were held on 20, 24 and 25/03/2025 with project stakeholders, namely: JP PP Hutovo blato, JP Parkovi – Kravica, LjubuÅ¡ki, the Municipality of Neum and the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH.
The purpose of the ROBONETCBC project is to promote and improve the innovative application of blue technologies for monitoring and preventing pollution in marine and freshwater ecosystems. By encouraging cooperation among different stakeholders, the project aims to develop new solutions within the blue economy and adopt existing innovative practices that improve current methods in the participating countries.
The project will:
- analyze existing monitoring systems in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro in order to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
- develop a joint action plan to address monitoring challenges and establish a research base for implementing innovative solutions
- implement advanced monitoring technologies, including robotics and sensors, at identified points to facilitate real-time data collection and analysis.
Ultimately, ROBONETCBC seeks to mitigate environmental impacts, ensure sustainable ecosystem management and encourage investment in the blue economy, thereby contributing to long-term environmental resilience and innovation in the region.
