The business delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, took part in the opening of the IMATECH 2025 Industrial Production Technologies Fair in Izmir on 20.02.2025.
The IMTECH Industrial Production Technologies Fair is an international fair that, organized by IZFAS, brings together the most significant manufacturers of industrial technologies from the Republic of Turkey, as well as from the region and the whole world, year after year.
The honor of opening this year’s fair also went to the Vice President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Jašarspahić, who thanked the organizers in his address for their hospitality and long-standing cooperation, as well as for their unconditional support in organizing the participation of BiH businessmen at the IMATECH fair.
“Turkey is at the heart of the regional trade corridor, with outstanding opportunities and logistical infrastructure that can be used to find partners for companies in our region. Fairs are the best places where we can make new business friendships and partnerships while developing our joint businesses,” Jašarspahić said.
He particularly referred to the good cooperation with İZFAŞ, with which the Chamber has had excellent cooperation for many years in organizing specialized fairs.
The business delegation at the Izmir Fair was represented by eleven BiH companies: TTU Energetik Tuzla, Pobjeda d.d. Tešanj, Sanzen Innovazion Tech d.o.o. Sarajevo, Selzer Automotive Bosnia d.o.o. Sarajevo, Jusri d.o.o. Goražde, Sklop d.o.o. Goražde, New Cold Metal Construction d.o.o. Usora, BTF d.o.o. Goražde, Cromex d.o.o. Prijedor, Amatec d.o.o. Tuzla, HH Inox d.o.o. Cazin, together with the Vice President of the Chamber, Mirsad Jašarspahić, and Almin Mališević, Director of the Industry and Services Sector at the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year, the IMATECH fair was visited by delegations from the region, thanks to cooperation with the Chamber of Economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of Entrepreneurs of Kosovo and the Chamber of Economy of Užice, Serbia. Companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Kosovo, Egypt, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine participated in the fair. Last year, the fair was visited by a total of 14,080 people from 63 countries, of whom 12,350 were domestic visitors and 1,730 were foreigners.
President Jašarspahić held business meetings on the margins of this fair with Mr. Hasan Šehović, President of the World Federation of the Diaspora of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the IMATECH Fair, and the organizers of the IZFAS fair with whom the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has achieved successful business cooperation in recent years.
