The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ERF Turkey signed a Protocol on the organization of the Symposium

Today, at the premises of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Economic Research Foundation (ERF) of the Republic of Turkey, led by President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Incekara.

On behalf of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Jašarspahić addressed those present, extending words of welcome and hospitality to the guests from Turkey. He expressed satisfaction that both sides had accepted the previously proposed idea that the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina organize a symposium in Sarajevo titled “Development of Economic Relations and Exploration of Sustainable New Horizons between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

On that occasion, the previously prepared Protocol on the Organization of the Symposium, which will be held on 13.11.2025 in Sarajevo, was also signed.

The Protocol stipulates that both sides will work on selecting scientific and technical topics to be addressed at the symposium, as well as on selecting participants for panel sessions and choosing academic and other officials who will speak about the Bosnian economy and opportunities for potential cooperation.

It was agreed that ERF representatives will organize the arrival of a business delegation from Turkey, which will represent industries selected by the Chamber and focus on the currently untapped potential for cooperation between the two economies.

B2B meetings between Bosnian and Turkish businesspeople were agreed on the margins of the symposium.

In the coming days, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will issue a public call to all interested parties to participate in the upcoming symposium.
