Kiss the Future AI Summit and the World Future Energy Summit have officially established a strategic partnership connecting artificial intelligence and the energy transition on a global level.
As part of this cooperation, Bloomteq and Blum Institut will participate in the World Future Energy Summit 2026, which will be held from 13 to 15 January in Abu Dhabi, positioning innovations from Bosnia and Herzegovina on one of the world’s most important energy platforms.
Energy transition and the role of artificial intelligence
World Future Energy Summit 2026 is taking place at a time of a key energy transition, marked by major investments in decarbonization technologies. The United Arab Emirates plans to invest 54 billion dollars in renewable energy by 2030, and artificial intelligence is becoming one of the most important drivers of modernization of energy systems.
AI Summit Sarajevo, in cooperation with Bloomteq, will participate in the FUSE AI zone, a special part of the conference dedicated to solutions for optimizing power grids, climate modeling, and the development of smart cities.
“We are proud of the partnership with AI Summit, as well as the participation of our company and Blum Institut at the World Future Energy Summit, where we will present our knowledge and capacities, but also invite other participants from the region who were part of the AI Summit to join us,” said Nermin Hadžić, co-founder of Bloomteq and Blum Institut.
“The World Future Energy Summit is a global platform where energy, innovation, and sustainable development meet. Through our participation, we want to show that Bosnia and Herzegovina is not only ready to follow global trends, but can actively contribute and cooperate on the world’s most ambitious energy projects.”
Digital transformation of the energy sector
The energy sector today requires digital transformation. The integration of renewable energy sources, the stability of power grids, and the security of supply require modern digital solutions.
Artificial intelligence enables more efficient management of energy networks, more accurate forecasts of consumption and production, and better coordination between transmission and distribution system operators. By applying these technologies, the countries of Southeast Europe, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, can significantly contribute to the European energy transition.
The World Future Energy Summit is the leading clean energy event in the Middle East. The organizers expect more than 100,000 participants and nearly 500 exhibitors from more than 150 countries. The program particularly emphasizes the importance of artificial intelligence, from smart management of power grids and the application of digital twins in urban planning to automated monitoring of renewable sources that strengthen resilience to climate change.
The Director of the World Future Energy Summit, Shyam Parmar, pointed out that “artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the way the world produces, manages, and optimizes clean energy. By including the delegation of the Kiss the Future AI Summit Sarajevo, the World Future Energy Summit further emphasizes the key role of new innovation centers in accelerating the global energy transition.”
Regional platform with a global perspective
The participation of the AI Summit at the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi is part of a long-term mission to connect the innovative potential of Southeast Europe with international opportunities.
Through panel discussions, networking, and specialized programs such as the FUSE AI zone, innovators gain direct insight into global trends and the future development of the energy industry. The presence in Abu Dhabi confirms that countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina can offer concrete knowledge and expertise for major energy and infrastructure projects.
