In order to provide potential beneficiaries with the highest quality information possible, the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, in cooperation with UNDP – the United Nations Development Programme in BiH, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, the Chamber of Economy of USK and the Cantonal Chamber of Economy Tuzla, is organizing Info Days at which representatives of the Ministry will present the details of the published Public Call and provide clarifications related to the submission of project applications.
The Info Days will be held according to the following schedule:
Bihać, 24.05.2024 (Friday) at 10:00, Chamber of Economy of USK, Trg Maršala Tita b.b.,
Sarajevo, 27.05.2024 (Monday) at 11:00, Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, Branislava Đurđeva 10, large hall on the ground floor,
Tuzla, 29.05.2024 (Wednesday) at 10:00, Cantonal Chamber of Economy Tuzla, Trg slobode bb, large hall, 3rd floor.
Beneficiaries of funds:
For PROJECT NO. 2: Improvement of institutional entrepreneurial infrastructure beneficiaries may be: Entrepreneurial support institutions (development agencies, entrepreneurial centers, business incubators, entrepreneurial incubators, innovation centers, new technology incubators, entrepreneurial accelerators, science and technology parks, competence centers and clusters), digital innovation hubs, as well as citizens’ associations that through their projects promote and encourage the development of entrepreneurship and crafts, from the territory of the Federation of BiH that were registered no later than 31.12.2022. Associations that were beneficiaries of the Ministry’s incentives in 2023 cannot use the funds of this project.
For PROJECT NO. 3: Incentive for organizing trade fairs beneficiaries may be: Organizers of trade fairs in the Federation of BiH
For PROJECT NO. 4: Strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs beneficiaries may be: Small business entities defined by the Law on Encouraging the Development of Small Business and registered under the Law on Business Companies, which have their headquarters in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, registered no later than 31.12.2022, which are in the VAT system, have shown positive business results in 2023, have at least 5 (five) employees on an indefinite-term basis on the date of the Public Call, and will increase employment by at least one worker during project implementation and whose main activity (or activity of business units if the entity applies with a business unit) is from the Classification of Activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina – KD BiH 2010 (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 47/10):
• “section C – Manufacturing industry” except the activities of production of strong alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and special-purpose production;
• “section E – Water supply, wastewater removal, waste management and environmental remediation activities”
The selection of beneficiaries will be made exclusively on the basis of the activity code from the Notice on classification of the business entity according to activity issued by the Federal Institute of Statistics.
Beneficiaries of incentive grant funds of the Ministry in 2023 under the project “Strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs” cannot use the funds of this project.
For PROJECT NO. 5: Support to SMEs in the IT sector beneficiaries may be: Small business entities defined by the Law on Encouraging the Development of Small Business and registered under the Law on Business Companies, which have their headquarters in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, registered no later than 31.12.2022, which are in the VAT system, have shown positive business results in 2023, have at least 5 (five) employees on an indefinite-term basis on the date of the Public Call, and will increase employment by at least one worker during project implementation and whose main activity (or activity of business units if the entity applies with a business unit) is from the Classification of Activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina – KD BiH 2010 (“Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 47/10):

For PROJECT NO. 6: Incentive for the development of crafts and related activities beneficiaries may be: Craftsmen registered in accordance with the Law on Crafts and Related Activities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the following areas of the Classification of Activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina – KD BiH 2010:
– “section C – Manufacturing industry” except the activities of production of strong alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and special-purpose production;
– “section J, area 62 – Computer programming, consulting and related activities”
All beneficiaries must have their headquarters in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, be registered no later than 31.12.2022, and have at least 1 (one) employee on an indefinite-term basis. Beneficiaries of incentive grant funds of the Ministry in 2022 and 2023. year cannot use the funds of this project, except for beneficiaries of incentive funds awarded under the Project: “Subsidies to private enterprises and entrepreneurs – Interest rate subsidies – Guarantee Fund”.
Applications from small business entities that have their registered main activity in the field of special-purpose industry, production of strong alcoholic beverages, production and processing of tobacco and games of chance are not acceptable.
Beneficiaries of incentive funds who, by the end of this public call, have not fulfilled their previously assumed obligations on the basis of using incentive funds of this ministry do not have the right to participate in this public call.
