Invitation to companies to participate in the regional program CybHER: Empowering Women and Girls in Cyber

The Chamber of Economy of FBiH informs companies about the implementation of the regional program CybHER: Empowering Women and Girls in Cyber, implemented by the British Council, in cooperation with PROPULSION, s. r. o. Bratislava and with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom.

The CybHER program will be implemented in 6 economies of the Western Balkans, and its goal is to empower women and girls in the field of cybersecurity and create a diverse talent pool for this sector of the IT industry.

The program enables young women from BiH and Kosovo – final-year students, graduates and those with up to three years of work experience – to complete a three-month, paid internship in real cyber teams of domestic companies. The internship lasts from September to December 2025, and all costs (including scholarships) are borne by the British Council.

Host organizations have very simple obligations:

  • to define the internship framework (tasks and goals),
  • to provide a mentor for the intern,
  • to provide a supportive and inclusive environment and
  • to sign a simple Memorandum of Understanding with the British Council.

The public call for companies that wish to participate in this program as internship providers is available here.
