The Green Building Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Green Building Council BiH – GBC BiH), in partnership with the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Engineering Chamber of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is organizing an info session on DGNB green certification in construction with Dr. Sanela Klarić, an expert in DGNB green certification, which will be held on 28 January in the premises of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has made a significant step toward more sustainable construction by signing a strategic partnership with the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), whereby GBC BiH became the official holder of the DGNB certification system in our country, positioning BiH on the European map of sustainable construction and opening the door to international standards adapted to local conditions.
DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) is one of the leading international systems for assessing the sustainability of buildings and urban areas, based on a holistic approach that evaluates environmental, economic and social quality throughout the entire life cycle of buildings in line with EU standards and directives.
