The magazine Komunal, in cooperation with the Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of BiH, is organizing a professional training and study visit to the Netherlands and Belgium from 25 to 27 January 2025. The conference is intended for a wide range of experts and institutions, including decision-makers, utility companies, local and regional self-government units, technology suppliers, consultants, law firms, associations and all those interested in the utility sector.
The thematic highlights of the conference include management of utility infrastructure, financing of EU projects, water management, waste management, development of smart cities and other current topics in the utility sector.
The visit will include advanced utility solutions in the Netherlands and Belgium, with special emphasis on Waste to Energy technology, waste recycling plants and wastewater treatment plants.
Planned cities to visit include:
• Amsterdam: known for sustainable development and a high standard of living.
• Rotterdam: a key European port and a city of innovation and modern architecture.
Also, two trainings/conferences are planned in Brussels, including one at the Radisson RED hotel and one at the European Parliament.
