The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH informs businesspeople that the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from 05 to 10 November 2024. The first CIIE was held in 2018 and has been held every November since then. Since Bosnia and Herzegovina has not been adequately represented in China so far, nor has it been present at CIIE, the potentially most significant step forward in the BiH promotion project would be Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation in the CIIE fair, which is among the 3 most important fairs in Asia. The fair management responded positively to the request for pavilion rental with a price depending on the level of participants and recommendations from institutions of both countries.
Although CIIE takes place in November, the primary intention is simply to be present at the fair while presenting the natural beauty and cultural specificities of our country, so less time is needed to prepare such a stand. Since the fair is dedicated to imports into China, we would connect with import platforms and work on promoting products from BiH, which is also the purpose of the umbrella project.
