INVITATION TO INFO DAYS – Public call for the selection of beneficiaries of grant funds from current and capital transfers for 2026 – FMRPO

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH informs you that the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts has published a Public Call for the selection of beneficiaries of grant funds from current and capital transfers for 2026.

The public call refers to the following projects:

PROJECT NO. 1: Construction of entrepreneurial zones
The total amount of available funds for this project is 5,000,000.00 KM.

The purpose of this project is the construction of new and the improvement of existing energy, utility, transport and communication infrastructure, where its lack represents an obstacle to the development of entrepreneurship in entrepreneurial zones of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the establishment/improvement of services for entrepreneurship development within the entrepreneurial zone as a factor for economic growth at the local level.

Category of beneficiaries: Municipalities and cities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

PROJECT NO. 2: Improvement of institutional entrepreneurial infrastructure
The total amount of available funds for this project is 400,000.00 KM.

The purpose of the project is focused on the development of entrepreneurship through, among other things, the improvement and strengthening of the business support system in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal is to improve the development of entrepreneurial support institutions and technology-entrepreneurship centers described in the Law on Entrepreneurial Infrastructure in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH, no. 41/24), as well as to encourage qualified business support service providers in the territory of the Federation of BiH to establish new and/or improve existing business support lines.

Category of beneficiaries: Beneficiaries may be entrepreneurial support institutions and technology-entrepreneurship centers described in the Law on Entrepreneurial Infrastructure in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
(Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH, no. 41/24), from the territory of the Federation of BiH that were registered no later than 31.12.2024 and have at least three (3) permanently employed workers.

PROJECT NO. 3: Strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs
The total amount of available funds for this project is 20,000,000.00 KM

The purpose of the project is to strengthen competitiveness and encourage the growth of innovative and export-oriented SMEs through technological modernization of business processes, expansion of production capacities, introduction of quality standards, circular economy and improvement of energy efficiency in line with the transition to a green and digital economy.

Category of beneficiaries: Small business entities defined by the Law on Encouraging the Development of Small Business and registered under the Law on Business Companies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which have their headquarters in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, registered no later than 31.12.2024, which are in the VAT system, have shown positive business results in 2025, have at least 5 (five) employees on an indefinite-term contract, and will increase employment by at least one worker during project implementation and whose main activity (or activity of business units if the entity applies with a business unit) is from the Classification of Activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina – KD BiH 2010 (“Official Gazette of BiH”, no. 47/10): • “Section C – Manufacturing industry” except for the production of strong alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and special-purpose production. Additionally, the following main activity codes are not acceptable: codes within division 18, codes within branch 23.5, as well as main activity codes defined by classes 10.71; 16.10; 23.63 and 23.70.
The main activity of the small business entity (or the activity of business units if the entity applies with a business unit) will be proven by a document – Notice on classification of the entity according to the classification of activities (KD BiH 2010) issued by the Institute for Statistics of the Federation of BiH.

PROJECT NO. 4: Incentive for the development of crafts and related activities
The total amount of available funds for this project is 1,000,000.00 KM.

The purpose of the project is to encourage the development of crafts and related activities through co-financing the costs of purchasing equipment necessary for the expansion and modernization of operations with the aim of improving craftsmanship, i.e. increasing product quality and employment growth.

Category of beneficiaries: Craftsmen registered in accordance with the Law on Crafts and Related Activities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the following areas of the Classification of Activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina – KD BiH 2010: – – – “Section C – Manufacturing industry” (Except C-10; C-23; C-25 and C-32; and the production of strong alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and special-purpose production) “Section F – Construction” and “Section J, division 62 – Computer programming, consulting and related activities”. All beneficiaries must have their headquarters in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, be registered no later than 31.12.2024, and have at least 1 (one) employee on an indefinite-term contract. Beneficiaries of incentive grant funds from the Ministry in 2025 may not use funds from this project.

PROJECT NO. 5: Incentive for newly established small business entities

The total amount of available funds for this project is 1,000,000.00 KM.

The purpose of the project is to maintain a positive trend in entrepreneurial activity from the aspect of increasing the number of newly established small business entities. Through the project, subsidies will be provided for the costs of purchasing equipment necessary for the expansion and modernization of operations, as well as mentoring services with the aim of increasing product quality and employment growth.

Category of beneficiaries: Small business entities defined by the Law on Encouraging the Development of Small Business and registered under the Law on Business Companies and the Law on Crafts and Related Activities, which have their headquarters in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and have at least 1 (one) employee on an indefinite-term contract, and were registered after 21.03.2025.
Project applications from small business entities that have a registered main activity in the field of special-purpose industry, production of strong alcoholic beverages, production and processing of tobacco, activities in the field of retail and wholesale trade, hospitality, tourism, agriculture and gambling are not acceptable.
The main activity of the small business entity will be proven by a document – Notice on classification of the entity according to the classification of activities (KD BiH 2010) issued by the Institute for Statistics of the Federation of BiH.

METHOD OF SUBMITTING THE PROJECT APPLICATION All necessary documentation listed in the Guidelines for applicants for project applications must be submitted via the online platform https://javnipozivi.fmrpo.gov.ba. Project applications submitted by mail will not be considered. The final deadline for submitting project proposals for the listed projects is 11.03.2026 (Wednesday), until 17:00. After the expiry of the prescribed deadline, the system will automatically block the possibility of submitting a project application, so potential beneficiaries are advised to submit the project application within the prescribed deadline.

INFO DAYS SCHEDULE:

In order to inform potential beneficiaries as well as possible, the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, in cooperation with UNDP – United Nations Development Programme in BiH and the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, as well as the Chambers of Commerce of USK, TK and ZDK, is organizing five Info Days. At the Info Days, representatives of the Ministry will present the published Public Call and provide explanations related to the submission of project applications.
