On Tuesday, 6 May 2025, a workshop was held to prepare the Action Plan 2025–2027 for the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear Industry in the FBiH (2024–2033), organized by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH, with the support of UNDP.
The Strategy was previously adopted by the FBiH Government, and the Parliament of the Federation of BiH adopted a Decision on its adoption (Official Gazette of the FBiH, No. 20/25). In accordance with that decision, work began on drafting the proposed Action Plan, which will be submitted to the Government for adoption.
The workshop brought together representatives from education, science, industry and the non-governmental sector, and the dynamic discussion generated a number of proposals and guidelines that will shape the final content of the Action Plan and improve intersectoral cooperation.
