Cooperation with representatives of the academic community and digital innovation hubs is often one of the key success factors for small and medium-sized enterprises, contributing to the development of the level of innovation in companies. Recognizing the importance of this cooperation, INTERA Technology Park began implementing the BOOST project in the middle of the year, supported by the project “Innovation and digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME“, co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ.
It was precisely within this project that on Tuesday, 25/7/2023, at this year’s CONNECTO conference, the Public Call was officially opened for small and medium-sized enterprises that will have the opportunity in the coming period to apply their innovative projects and receive direct support through cooperation with representatives of the academic community and digital innovation hubs. A little over a month ago, INTERA Technology Park opened a Public Call for all interested representatives of the academic community and research centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide services to small and medium-sized enterprises. 15 faculties and digital innovation hubs with more than 150 experts have submitted their services in the past period in the fields of technological innovation, law and intellectual property, digital transformation, and development and internationalization, which were presented in the published catalog. All interested small and medium-sized enterprises from Bosnia and Herzegovina can choose one service provider and the corresponding service within this call and gain the right to one-time support within the Innovation Voucher Scheme. This program includes financial support for the provided service in the maximum amount of 5,000.00 EUR (equivalent in BAM) and mandatory co-financing of 10% to be provided by the small and medium-sized enterprises with which the service providers cooperate.
All details of the Public Call can be found by interested potential applicants here where they can also read about the application process, and in case of additional questions they can contact boost@intera.ba.
Additional information about the Public Call will also be available at the online Info session, which will be held on Monday, 28/8/2023 at 10:00 a.m. You can secure your place at this event by filling out the form at the link.
