Invitation to employers to participate in the survey as part of the labor market research 2023/2024

We inform you that the Federal Employment Institute and employment services, in accordance with the Law on Mediation in Employment and Social Security of Unemployed Persons, will organize employer surveying in the period from 25/9 to 31/10/2023 as part of the labor market research in the Federation of BiH 2023/2024, in order to review trends and assess movements in the labor market.

It is planned that the research will include, through an anonymous survey, a representative sample of about 1,300 employers (small, medium and large) from the Federation of BiH from key activities, who have five or more employees.

The surveying will be conducted by representatives of the employment services who are professionally trained to carry out surveying using the established research methodology.

The questions in the questionnaire mainly relate to assessing employers’ needs for labor, the most sought-after occupations, estimating possible labor surpluses, difficulties in finding workers, employers’ ability to organize practical training for pupils, students and unemployed persons, as well as satisfaction with the services of the employment services, etc.

The obtained results will serve to improve the activities, projects, services and cooperation of public employment services with employers, as well as to develop public policies for the labor market in the Federation of BiH based on the analysis of the current situation and future trends.

On this occasion, we invite companies to respond to surveyors from the employment services if they contact them, and to participate in this research.

The collected results and recommendations will be presented to the public at the end of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024 through appropriate documents.
