Today, within the RECOOPER project, which is co-financed within the comprehensive EU4BusinessRecovery project by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, the final conference of the project on initial experiences and the future of working with digital nomads in Herzegovina was held outdoors.
The conference was held in a beautiful setting by the Trebižat River, one of the tourist pearls of Herzegovina. The event attracted numerous speakers and guests from the tourism sector, including those who had worked with digital nomads as well as those who wanted to learn more about the specific characteristics of digital nomads.
The conference presented information about completed project activities such as the arrival of digital nomads in Herzegovina, branding Herzegovina as a destination, and the creation of a web platform tailored to digital nomads. A panel discussion was also held with distinguished guests from the tourism sector who shared their experiences in working with nomads and proposed potential improvements. As part of the conference, the Visit Blidinje association was awarded the Tourism Star for the best environment for digital nomads.
The RECOOPER project is implemented by the Federation of BiH Chamber of Economy as the project lead, together with the Intera Technology Park from Mostar.
