A representative of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emir Pašić, as a partner in the SKILL2SUSTAIN project, took part in the study visit and the project management meeting, which was held in Ohrid from 24 to 27 September 2025, organized by the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.
During the three days, project management meetings were held in which the dynamics of planned activities were analyzed and work tasks for the next period were agreed upon. Dates for the next study visits and management meetings, which will be held in Zagreb and Ljubljana, were also agreed upon.
The SKILL2SUSTAIN project – Promoting digital and green skills for a resilient and sustainable society of the Western Balkans – is funded with the support of the European Commission, within the ERASMUS+ program, for the period 2025-2028.
The aim of the project is to integrate a holistic approach to digitalization and green transition actions by creating an efficient, modern and sustainable educational ecosystem – study programs and certified lifelong learning (LLL) programs for the dual green and digital transition.
During the visit, the team also participated in the international conference MASE21, one of the most important regional platforms for knowledge exchange in the field of engineering and sustainability.
A member of our project team, Prof. Dr. Tomo Cerovšek, gave the keynote lecture at the conference entitled: Digital transformation of construction engineering with building information modeling (BIM) and AI. This conference once again confirms the importance of international cooperation in developing competencies and strengthening digital and green skills for a resilient and sustainable society in the Western Balkans.
