The event is organized on the occasion of World Environment Day
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo and the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the partner country – the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, jointly organize the event Eco Forum 2025: The Voice of Nature in the Business and Academic World.
This event aims to connect the academic community, students, the business sector, and the media in joint reflection and action for a sustainable future and responsible management of natural resources.
The central part of the program is a panel discussion, primarily aimed at students, who will have the opportunity to listen and ask questions to representatives of successful companies and the media.
The panel topics will focus on:
• the role of sustainable business in the modern world,
• the importance of the green transition,
• employment opportunities and career development in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
After the panel, there will be a formal signing of the Memorandum of cooperation between the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and representatives of companies, opening a new chapter of partnership between education and the real sector with the aim of creating sustainable practices and professional support for young people.
The event represents an important step in strengthening dialogue between science, business, and society, and affirms students as active agents of change.
