Invitation to participate in the two-day workshop “REPORTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATION ON THE REGISTER OF POLLUTERS AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION IN BIH”

The Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of BiH informs that the consulting company nLogic Advisory is organizing a free two-day workshop within the project „Reporting in accordance with the PRTR regulation“, intended for representatives of operators – polluters and representatives of the public sector, which will be held in the period from 22.10. to 23.10.2024 at Hotel Senad od Bosne, Lukavac.

The aim of the workshop is to familiarize operators – polluters with the new Regulation on the Register of Polluters and Environmental Pollution, the so-called PRTR BIH („Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH“, No. 11/23) and the obligations arising from it. The workshop will analyze the current state of reporting on emissions of pollutants into the environment in the Federation of BiH, provide concrete solutions

for improving the quality of reporting by economic entities as operators – environmental polluters, and encourage interactive discussion among key participants and stakeholders in environmental pollution, with the aim of improving and enhancing the quality of data in the said Register.

The workshop will be implemented within the framework of the project of the same name, with the support of the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The invitation is open to all operators/polluters from the economy (e.g. thermal power plants, mines, metal processing, wood, chemical, petrochemical industries, etc.) who are obliged to report emissions into the environment in accordance with the said Regulation, as well as to representatives of the public sector. During the workshop, operators will be introduced to the obligations, as well as the methods and ways of timely, accurate and complete reporting, arising as a legal obligation from the said Regulation.
