The second training will be organized in Sarajevo on 16 and 17 May 2024 at Hotel Hills. The partners of this training are global corporations dealing with this topic, namely OIKON and TUV NORD.
ESG training program
Practical guide to business sustainability and navigating EU ESG regulatory requirements
Practical training with relevant expert foundations.
Participants will gain a broader picture, i.e. the key information needed to understand the sustainability context relevant for understanding the multitude of new EU regulatory requirements related to sustainability management and reporting and sustainable finance. This multitude of regulatory requirements will be presented in a concise and simple format, but in a way that participants can identify possible benefits and opportunities from their application in everyday business. Key concepts such as value chain, due diligence, double materiality, sustainable activities and establishing the prerequisites for achieving them are an indispensable part of the training.
Finally, the environmental, social and governance components of sustainability will also be discussed, their real and possible impacts on companies’ strategies and business models, as well as certain requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) related to objectives, measures, key performance indicators, metrics and the necessary resources and organizational prerequisites for sustainability reporting.
The training will be interactive, with many practical examples and exercises. Participants are expected to actively participate, be open in sharing experiences and challenges they (already) face in practice, and be willing to learn and seek solutions.
