CHAMBER OF ECONOMY/COMMERCE OF THE FEDERATION OF BIH IN FRANKFURT WITH THE COMMUNITY OF ENTREPRENEURS OF BOSNIAN-HERZEGOVINIAN ORIGIN

Representatives of the Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of BiH, Vice President Mirsad Jašarspahić and Armin Hodžić, together with the Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić, Edin Sefe, Director of WTC (World Trade Center), and Senad Omerašević, Director of the News Program at Hayat TV, visited Frankfurt on a working visit at the invitation of an association that brings together entrepreneurs of Bosnian and Herzegovinian origin. The importance and level of integration of our compatriots is also shown by the fact that the entire event was honored and welcomed by the Mayor of Frankfurt, Mike Josef, through his active participation. Strengthening economic ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany through the network of successful entrepreneurs of Bosnian and Herzegovinian origin is a special segment of the Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of BiH’s activities. This is precisely the greatest resource our country currently has, among other things, Mirsad Jašarspahić stated during his presentation.

Highlighting the importance of Frankfurt as a financial, logistics and industrial center in Europe, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian delegation presented the potentials and capacities of economic sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina with growth and development potential in almost all production branches.

Our diaspora is becoming stronger day by day in economic terms and is certainly the best integrated community in German society. Aware of this fact, we invited representatives of the BiH diaspora to use the chamber network, either individually or as collective members, to find partners for supply chains in the industries in which they work or for possible joint investments in new production capacities.

All our people living and working abroad were invited on this occasion to establish connections with their home municipalities and cities in order to obtain all necessary information about projects currently being implemented in this regard and the capacities of industrial zones.

This visit once again confirms the strategic commitment to strengthening economic ties and opening new business opportunities for our people in the diaspora.

On that occasion, a visit was also made to the construction site of the “Bosniakisches Kultur Center BKC”, which is being built entirely with its own knowledge and resources, from the conceptual design, architectural solution, structural and static calculations, engineering supervision, as well as the execution of works.

The enthusiasm and unconditional mutual support are certainly a lesson these people show all of us in the homeland, Jašarspahić said.
