A two-day workshop was held last week with the aim of informing interested stakeholders about the proposed and ongoing activities within the ROBONETCBC project.
On the first day, 12/03, the workshop was held at Hotel Buni, while on the second day, 13/03, a working visit was organized to Hutovo Blato Nature Park, where the Pilot Action in Bosnia and Herzegovina based on a system for monitoring migrations and detecting fish species at the Svitava Lake dam was presented on site.
During the workshop, the project itself, its purpose and objectives were presented, followed by a comprehensive analysis of marine and freshwater ecosystems in the three countries.
What was most interesting to the present interested stakeholders of the target groups, among whom were representatives of national, regional and city public authorities, non-governmental organizations, higher education institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises, was certainly the joint action plan for improving existing monitoring systems in relation to innovations and technologies, as well as the presentation of the development of an advanced system for recording, quantifying and recognizing fish at a hot spot location in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, the project also involves the University of Zadar, Šibenik-Knin County, the Ruđer Bošković Institute, the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor, and the Montenegro Innovation Fund.
