Today, in the premises of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, Prof. Dr. Vlado Majstorović, President of the Association for the Development and Promotion of Professional Project Management in Bosnia and Herzegovina – ProPM BiH, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Šantić, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, signed a cooperation agreement.
The Association for the Development and Promotion of Professional Project Management in Bosnia and Herzegovina – ProPM BiH is an associate member of the international project management association IPMA, which today brings together more than seventy member countries around the world, including ProPM BiH, with the mission of promoting competencies, standards and professionalization in the field of project management.
ProPM BiH operates throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and actively participates in the international IPMA network of associations, adhering to its fundamental principles and guidelines.
The Association is authorized to conduct education and training aimed at developing knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of project, program and portfolio management. As an associate member of IPMA, ProPM BiH promotes and implements the IPMA certification procedure for four levels of competence A, B, C and D in cooperation with regional certification bodies.
In accordance with the internal legislation of the contracting parties and respecting the principles of partnership, transparency and accountability, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH and ProPM BiH agreed to cooperate in the following areas:
- Promotion of professional and public opinion on important issues in the field of project management and its importance in modern business,
- Promotion, education and support for the implementation of international standards for project management in the field of economic and social activities.
- Assistance and support to project managers from all economic and other fields in acquiring and effectively applying knowledge in project management,
- Organizing lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences, educational programs and other forms of lifelong learning,
- Other forms of cooperation of mutual interest.
