The President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH with associates participated in the Interdepartmental Meeting of Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship in Podgorica, Montenegro

The Interdepartmental Meeting of Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship has for years brought together the academic community of Southeast Europe, which achieves its scientific research results in the fields of management, organization, marketing and entrepreneurship. It was held on 21 and 22 September 2023 in Montenegro, and the honor of hosting this prestigious event went to the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro.

More than 100 registered participants from nearly 30 cities in Southeast Europe took part in the meeting and had the opportunity during the two-day conference to exchange ideas and learn about the latest trends in the relevant fields. In addition, thanks to the support of the local business and ICT community, which were partners in the organization, those present were able to hear interesting lectures and experiences about building successful businesses.

The first day of the conference was marked by introductory lectures by some of the most prominent professors in this field. One of the world’s leading authorities in management theory and practice, Prof. Dr. Isak Adizes, addressed the audience via video link and spoke on the topic “Artificial intelligence and modern management and marketing”. After Professor Adizes, Prof. Dr. Jurica Pavičić, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at the University of Zagreb and full professor at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, spoke on the topic “Challenges of education management in the conditions of artificial intelligence development”. The introductory lectures were concluded by Prof. Dr. Milorad Novićević from the University of Mississippi in the United States, speaking on the topic “Artificial intelligence through the prism of ethics”.

On the second day of the conference, within the working segment, three parallel sessions were held: Management efficiency and different models of work organization in the conditions of digital economy development, moderated by Prof. Dr. Jasmina Ćetković; Digitalization and artificial intelligence as part of the creative destruction of the traditional marketing paradigm, moderated by Prof. Dr. Boban Melović; and Entrepreneurial ecosystem as a prerequisite for economic development in the digital age, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirjana Kuljak.

The Interdepartmental Meeting was attended by the President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Šantić, and the Director of the Economic-Legal Sector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mia Glamuzina, who actively contributed to this very interesting and current topic.
