Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies at the WE CYCLE and WE ENERGY fair, Izmir

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, together with representatives of the Association of System Operators and interested companies from BiH, took part in the WeCycle and WeEnergy fairs, which were held concurrently in Izmir from 09 to 11.05.2023.

On the path toward sustainable cities that will leave an environment suitable for future generations, and with the aim of reducing waste generation through separate collection and recycling, as well as strengthening public awareness, the focus of the WeCycle fair was.

At the same time, the WeEnergy fair, also the largest clean energy fair, brought together more than 300 exhibitors and representatives of the economy, all levels of institutions and governments, experts in the fields of energy, power, electromobility and industry, investors, local communities, the academic community, non-governmental organizations and many others.

 

Representatives of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH and Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies had a unique opportunity to become acquainted with the latest achievements in these fields, both within the fair’s conference program and through direct B2B meetings.

 

 

In addition to the exhibition of technologies for disposal, recycling, measurement and management, chargers, batteries, cables, connectors, junction boxes, charger mounting systems, cables, and numerous electric vehicles, it is especially important to mention the exhibition and presentation of the first Turkish electric vehicle TOGG, model “T10X”, which rolled off the production line on Republic Day, 29 October 2022.

 

The two arrows in the logo design, which merge into a gemstone in the center, symbolize not only the merging of Eastern and Western cultures, but also the merging of technology and people at the crossroads of today and tomorrow.

On this occasion, a meeting was also held between representatives of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Zlatibor Administrative District of the Republic of Serbia with the management of the FuarIzmir fairgrounds, with the aim of negotiating the extension of the existing Memorandum on joint cooperation that the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH and FuarIzmir already have, as well as the modalities of involving companies from the Zlatibor Administrative District of the Republic of Serbia through a similar agreement with the competent Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Economy secured an exhibition stand within which Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies will be able to display their promotional materials free of charge. At the same time, companies interested in being exhibitors were provided with a 10% discount, and an additional discount for companies where women are in the ownership/co-ownership structure.

 

 

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH will publish on its official website a list of upcoming fairs in which companies from BiH can participate. FuarIzmir has 4 large exhibition halls, with a total area of 78,750 m2.
