From 04 to 06 December 2023, at the organization of the University of Novi Sad within the Project “jOiNEd For sUsTainability – bUilding climate REsilient communities in WB and EU – 1FUTURE”, working meetings of the Project Steering Committee were held, in which Emir Pašić, Head of the Center for International Cooperation and EU Funds of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, participated on behalf of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH.
The 1Future project aims to support higher education institutions in the Western Balkans in building capacities in the areas of sustainability, resilience and climate action.
During the visit, study programs and subjects taught at the University of Novi Sad were presented, related to the topics covered by the 1FUTURE project – sustainability and climate change.
A visit and tour of the Science and Technology Park was organized, as well as an inter-project training that included 5 international projects being implemented at the University of Novi Sad.
In the second part of the working visit, Steering Committee meetings were held during which the results achieved so far in the implementation of the 1FUTURE project were presented and analyzed, and further activities and their implementation dynamics were planned.
On that occasion, within the joint presentation of chambers in the region, the activities of our Chamber in the previous period were presented and further activities for the implementation of this Project co-financed by the European Union were agreed.
