Business entities from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden with innovative business ideas, products or
services that can lead to reduced unemployment, increased competitiveness and sustainable
socio-economic development in BiH have a new opportunity to receive grant funds from the Challenge
Fund within the 3rd call for applications.
For potential applicants, a budget with an indicative amount of EUR 480,000.00 is available, and the deadline for
submitting applications is 28 December 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
For potential beneficiaries from the startup category, registered for at least 6 months and at most
two years, the maximum grant amount is up to EUR 10,000.00, while for beneficiaries from the
category of mature business entities with up to 250 employees, operating for two years or more, the maximum
amount of grant funds is up to EUR 30,000.00. Applicants are required to provide a minimum own
contribution of 50% of the total value of the proposed project. The project implementation period may
not be shorter than three months or longer than 12 months.
The possibility of applying for the public call is carried out exclusively through online application on the electronic
application and evaluation system (eMSAE) located on the website www.c2c.ba, where the
Applicant Guide is also available, which is an integral part of the Application Package. Applications submitted by
mail (printed form), by fax or in any other way will not be considered, nor will they be subject to evaluation.
Within the previous two calls, grant funds in the amount of EUR 941,000.00 were approved from the Challenge
Fund for 38 business entities.
The Challenge to Change 3.0 project is a three-year project with a total value of EUR 3 million, financed by
Sweden. The project is implemented by the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA in partnership with
the Enterprise Development Agency EDA. The project partner is also Region Östergötland, Eastern Sweden.
