The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) BiH invite all interested stakeholders to the First Expanded Session of the ESCO Association FBiH Board, which will be held on 12 May 2023, in the premises of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting at 10:00 a.m.
At the session, the work plan for 2023 and the activities to be carried out by the Association members will be discussed, and those present will be introduced to the processes of contracting and implementing energy services.
The ESCO Association was established on 28 February 2023, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through the project “Launching environmental financing for low-carbon urban development” (URBANLED), funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), with the following objectives:
Networking and creating business partnerships between ESCO companies and potential clients from the public, private and residential sectors; Preparation and distribution of project documentation and feasibility studies for the preparation of energy service procurement with the aim of achieving savings; Collection and dissemination of information on active and planned ESCO procurements; Preparation of expert analyses and proposals for amendments to the market framework in order to develop and expand the application of the ESCO model in BiH.
