Call for small and medium-sized enterprises: Free online training “Road to Export” for exporting to the Swedish and EU markets

Eda – Enterprise Development Agency, Mozaik Foundation and SERDA – Sarajevo Regional Development Agency invite small and medium-sized enterprises from Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for the free online training “Road to Export”, intended to strengthen capacities for exporting to the Swedish and European Union markets.

The training is primarily intended for small and medium-sized enterprises from Bosnia and Herzegovina that want to export goods or services to the Swedish and European Union markets.

With the support of Sweden and the SPRING program, jointly implemented by Eda, Mozaik Foundation and SERDA, the training is organized by OTGS – Open Trade Gate Sweden, part of the Swedish National Board of Trade (National Board of Trade Sweden). The training is intended for companies from low- and middle-income countries to strengthen their export capacities toward Sweden and the EU, with a special focus on export-oriented companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing them with practical knowledge, tools and confidence to enter the Swedish and broader EU market.

Through a practical approach, the training helps participants identify export-ready products, understand EU regulations, analyze the potential of the target market and develop concrete, applicable export strategies tailored to Swedish buyers. Special focus is placed on using market research tools, working with trade statistics and understanding the conditions for entering the EU market.

The training combines self-paced online learning and interactive online sessions. Participants will first get acquainted with Open Trade Gate Sweden and the “Road to Export” platform, and then independently go through online modules related to product classification, market research, trade statistics and requirements for entering the EU market.

The total expected duration of the training is about 15 hours, spread over a period of five to six weeks, allowing participants to master the planned content at their own pace. The program also includes guidelines for promotion and preparation of a concrete export plan. The training is held in English.

The introductory online session will be held on 16 December.

We invite interested companies to apply no later than 10 December via → online form

The number of participants in the training is limited, and in case of a larger number of applicants, a selection will be made, with priority given to companies that submitted the → application form first.
