Continuous training of certified participants in the professional development of supervisory board and management members – Seminar “ESG standards – the role of management board and supervisory board members” – Tuzla, 22 November 2025
In accordance with the Regulation on the professional development of chairpersons and members of supervisory boards and management boards of companies with state capital participation (“Official Gazette of FBiH”, nos. 71/09, 33/10, 23/11, 83/11, 2/13, 80/13, 48/15, 60/16, 88/17 and 19/22), and the Professional Development Programme (“Official Gazette of FBiH”, no. 22/25), the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, as part of the continuous training programme for certified participants in the professional development of supervisory board and management members, is organizing a seminar on the topic:
ESG standards – the role of management board and supervisory board members
Saturday, 22 November 2025 from 10:00 at the premises of the Tuzla Cantonal Chamber of Economy (Trg slobode b.b.)
Sustainable and responsible business has become one of the key factors of long-term business success. The ESG concept (Environmental, Social and Governance) today represents a fundamental framework for assessing the impact of business operations on the environment, society and corporate governance, and increasingly shapes the decisions of investors, regulators and business partners.
The aim of the seminar is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the ESG concept (Environmental, Social, Governance) in the context of increasingly stringent regulatory and market requirements for its application in companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants will become familiar with the basics of ESG, the relevant global and European regulatory framework, methods of measurement and reporting, and the specific obligations of management board and supervisory board members in the process of implementing ESG strategy.
For certified participants in the professional development of supervisory board and management members, this seminar is recognized as additional training that they are required to complete once a year, in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulation on the professional development of chairpersons and members of supervisory boards and management boards of companies with state capital participation and point IX of the Professional Development Programme.
