The Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), with the support of the project „Improving the adoption of Industry 4.0 and introducing international sustainability standards“ implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), will hold a free training aimed at improving the competitiveness and sustainability of SMEs through strengthening capacities in line with the principles of Industry 4.0 and ESG standards.
The training will cover two thematic modules:
Module 1: Industry 4.0
Introduction to modern technologies for improving production processes – automation, artificial intelligence, IoT and data management.
Module 2: ESG and gender-responsive leadership
Basics of sustainable business, creating inclusive policies and reporting obligations under EU regulations.
Along with the theoretical overview, participants will improve their knowledge of EU regulations, ESG factors, and the benefits of using AI tools in everyday business activities, while through interactive work within the workshop they will become familiar with concrete examples of good practice from BiH. The workshop will enable participants to:
- analyze real cases of Industry 4.0 implementation in production and service processes,
- understand how ESG principles can improve business performance and competitiveness,
- exchange experiences with colleagues from similar sectors and receive practical guidelines for applying what they have learned in their companies.
Through a combination of theory and practical examples, participants will gain concrete tools and strategies for improving business operations, increasing the efficiency and sustainability of their companies, and better preparing for compliance with international standards and regulations.
