Bosnia and Herzegovina stands before a great opportunity to improve its economic and environmental development through the transition to a circular economy. In this context, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH is organizing a conference titled “WASTE – A RESOURCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN BIH”, which will be held on 23 September 2025 at Hotel Hills in Sarajevo.
The aim of the conference is to point out the complexity of the current waste management system in BiH, encourage dialogue on pressing issues, exchange positive experiences, and present good practices in the field of circular economy, with the aim of improving waste management in the country.
Circular economy not only opens up new economic opportunities, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Federation of BiH, but also contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing CO2 emissions and creating new green jobs.
The conference will be attended by decision-makers at all levels, experts, entrepreneurs, financiers, representatives of public utility companies, the non-governmental sector, and the media. This important event is organized with the support and co-financing of:
