Earth Day event
In order to mark Earth Day, one of the most important dates when people around the world are called upon to take responsibility for the environment and sustainable development, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH and the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo are organizing an event that will bring together key actors from the business, media and academic sectors.
This event aims to strengthen cooperation between different sectors in order to contribute to the sustainable development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The focus is on connecting students with companies that implement the principles of responsible business and sustainability. The event offers an opportunity for learning, exchange of experiences and familiarization with new technologies that shape the future of our planet.
Also, at this event, representatives of leading companies and organizations will share their experiences and examples of good practice when it comes to environmental protection, reducing negative impact on nature and implementing sustainable business models. Students will be enabled to connect directly with companies, thereby gaining a better insight into industries that play a key role in shaping a green and
sustainable future.
Students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with an electric vehicle, along with a discussion on innovations in the automotive industry and the importance of transitioning to sustainable solutions in transport.
The event represents an opportunity for all participants to jointly contribute to creating a better, greener and sustainable society, with an emphasis on educating young people who will shape political, social and economic decisions in the future.
