The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing a two-day international conference “WASTE – RESOURCE for the development of the circular economy”, which will be held on 04 and 05 December 2025 in Podgorica.
This important regional event will bring together leaders of the green transition, decision-makers, experts, institutes, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, public utility companies, representatives of the non-governmental sector and the media, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience on sustainable resource and waste management.
Circular economy – the key to sustainable development
The conference will be dedicated to promoting the circular economy as an innovative model that enables rational use of resources, extending product life cycles and reducing the amount of waste.
Through presentations, panels and expert discussions, national and regional examples of good practice will be presented, as well as current initiatives contributing to the goals of the European Green Deal and the new Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP).
Special attention will be given to topics such as:

Development of infrastructure and technologies for recycling and composting

The importance of public policies and financial instruments in the transition to a circular economy
