The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VTK/STK BiH), with technical
support from SIPPO, is organizing the participation of BiH companies from the textile industry at the International
Fair “Munich Fabric Start”, and invites you to take part in the joint stand of Bosnia and
Herzegovina. The fair will be held from 3-4 September 2024 in Munich, Germany.
About the Munich Fabric Start fair
As one of Europe’s leading textile fairs, held twice a year, Munich Fabric Start presents
a quality portfolio of international fabric and accessories manufacturers, who present their latest
developments and innovations in Munich. On 3 and 4 September 2024, up to 1,100 international suppliers will present
their new collections as a comprehensive range of textiles, accessories, finishes and sourcing solutions for
the Autumn/Winter 25/26 season in Munich.
The Munich Fabric Start fair includes the following exhibiting components:
– men’s and women’s ready-to-wear
– socks
– underwear
– corporate clothing (except protective and workwear)

Participation in the Munich Fabric Start fair is an ideal opportunity for BiH companies to meet potential
business partners, get acquainted with the latest market trends and explore the competition.
VTK/STK BiH services
– Administrative tasks related to communication with fair organizers, filling out the
application, registration of BiH companies, providing relevant information to BiH companies
related to exhibiting
– VTK/STK BiH will rent a space of about 50m² for the purpose of presenting the companies
– Visit of participating companies and consulting
– Construction and design of the joint stand
– Organizing a preparatory meeting for participation in the fair
– Promotion of the joint stand and exhibitors
– BiH exhibiting companies will be provided with a list of potential partners created from
the Hoovers database (the world’s leading platform for finding potential partners)
– An e-catalog and printed catalog of BiH exhibitors will be prepared
– Implementation of the participation
Costs borne by VTK/STK BiH
– Part of the costs of renting the arranged stand
– Costs of mandatory inclusion of BiH exhibitors in the fair catalog
– Costs of representation at the stand (electricity, catering)
– Costs of marketing activities
Companies/exhibitors will bear the following costs
– Participation in the rental of the stand space in a fixed amount of 4,000 KM (+17% VAT) per
company/exhibitor;
– Travel and hotel accommodation costs for their representatives
– Transport and freight forwarding costs for exhibits
Criteria for selecting companies – co-exhibitors
– The company is a manufacturer that can offer products suitable for this fair
– The company has experience in export business and employs at least one person who actively
communicates in English (German);
– The company is strategically oriented toward exports to the EU and possesses adequate product quality, as well as the necessary permits and certificates
– The company is an active member of VTK/STK BiH (regularly settles membership fee obligations
in accordance with Article 22, paragraph 123 of the Law on VTK/STK BiH, Official Gazette of BiH”, No. 30/1 I

– The company is ready to attend the preparatory meeting organized by VTK/STK BiH
– The company undertakes to submit a follow-up six months and one year after the participation
regarding the results of the participation
