INVITATION TO THE PRESENTATION OF RESULTS OF THE PILOT MARKET INTELLIGENCE SERVICE, POLICY PAPER FOR INCREASING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND POLICY PAPER FOR STRENGTHENING THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF SMEs

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, together with its partners, the Chamber of Commerce of the Zlatibor Administrative District and the ENERGIS Center, continues activities on the cross-border cooperation project “ENHANCE – support for improving competitiveness and employment”.

As one of the activities of the ENHANCE project, a Pilot Market Intelligence Service has been developed, tested and evaluated. This service provides support for cross-border capacity development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for innovation and commercialization of products and services. The pilot service consists of specific steps and tools aimed at strengthening the competitive and innovative potential of SMEs participating in the project. An assessment of market intelligence, innovation and commercialization opportunities for SMEs from the metal processing, wood and food industries will be presented, with the aim of gaining insight into the real needs of each SME, which will be used for activities on capacity development and SME needs.

Also, one of the project activities is the preparation of two policy papers, i.e. recommendations for improving employment opportunities and economic growth of SMEs, obtained on the basis of the results from testing the pilot service and feedback collected from small and medium-sized enterprises. During the implementation of the ENHANCE project and contacts with project users, certain findings, i.e. results of qualitative research among SMEs, were obtained. Based on the conducted interviews and research findings, the project team will propose recommendations for supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and increasing employment opportunities. The research results will be presented through the presentation of these two documents.

In this regard, we invite you to attend the presentations that will be held on Tuesday, 11.04.2023, starting at 11:00, in Sarajevo-Ilidža, Hotel Terme.
