Public call no. 1:
This public call, as well as the guidelines for potential applicants, relate exclusively to the support measure for processing capacities of the agricultural-food industry through the introduction of innovations and the development of new and/or improvement of existing products, marketing tools, and ensuring business continuity and a safe and healthy working environment.
Who can apply?
Crafts, entrepreneurs, cooperatives and enterprises, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises employing fewer than 250 workers, and all projects that exclusively relate to the production of products for human consumption within the sectors of: fruit processing, mushroom processing, medicinal herbs, spices, winemaking and olive processing, vegetable processing, milk processing, honey processing, meat processing, egg processing, fish processing and preservation, cereal processing, and production of ready-made food and meals.
Applicants may submit only one application to this public call. Applicants may submit applications for projects defined by this public call exclusively independently. Applications from multiple applicants within one proposal will not be taken into account. Applicants are responsible for project implementation including financial obligations.
Applicants who have previously used financial support through the support measure for investments in processing capacities and marketing of agricultural-food products (refers to the measure financed by EU4AGRI/EU4AGRI-Recovery) are considered ineligible applicants.
Support funds per application may amount to from 30,000 KM to 300,000 KM and may be used only to finance eligible costs (the stated amounts do not include VAT, which is considered an ineligible cost).
The maximum amount of requested financial support for projects under LOT1 cannot exceed 80,000 KM (amount excluding VAT), while the amount of requested financial support for projects under LOT2 must be from 80,001 KM to 300,000 KM (amounts excluding VAT).
The amount of mandatory financial participation of the applicant (applies to both LOTs) is 30% of the total eligible costs. Co-financing must be monetary and participation of any other kind will not be taken into account.
Applications can be submitted from 09 May 2023 until the final deadline 12 July 2023, by 15:00. Applications submitted through other channels (mail or email) will not be considered.

Public call for potential beneficiaries of grants for the measure supporting the introduction of innovations and information and communication technologies in the agricultural-food sector
The EU4AGRI project announces a new Public Call for potential beneficiaries of grants for the measure supporting the introduction of innovations and information and communication technologies in the agricultural-food sector, worth 1.3 million KM.
Eligible applicants
The application is submitted exclusively in partnership consisting of two members from the following categories:
Category 1:
- Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the IT sector, registered to perform activities 62.0 (Computer programming, consulting and related activities) and/or 63.01 (Data processing, hosting services and related activities; web portal) according to the standard classification of activities;
Category 2:
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the agricultural-food sector, which may be:
- crafts/sole proprietors,
- cooperatives,
- enterprises, or
- micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (cooperatives, enterprises) that economically and interest-wise bring together agricultural producers or the population of rural areas, providing them with organizational and advisory support.
The partnership must consist of two members, whereby the partnership members must be from different categories. The applicant may be from either of the two categories.
The applicant is responsible for project implementation including financial obligations.
- Enterprises with up to 250 employees.
- Enterprises with up to 250 employees.
- Agricultural pharmacies are not acceptable either as applicants or as partners.
For each project, the applicant must ensure own co-financing in the amount of at least 30 % of the total amount of eligible costs related to the procurement of equipment and services. The part of the project budget related to the development of a software or IoT solution is fully borne by the EU4AGRI project.
Co-financing must be monetary, and participation of any other kind will not be taken into account.
Applications can be submitted from 15 May 2023 until the final deadline 14 July 2023, by 15:00. Applications submitted through other channels (mail or email) will not be considered.
