The international conference “WASTE – A RESOURCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY” is approaching

Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing a two-day international conference “WASTE – A RESOURCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY”, which will be held on 8 and 9 December at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro in Podgorica.

The conference brings together leading experts, institutions, companies and international organizations to jointly consider new trends, technologies and business models that turn waste into valuable resources and drivers of development. The aim of the event is to strengthen regional cooperation and accelerate the transition to a circular economy in the Western Balkans.

The conference is organized by the Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with strong cooperation and partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Zlatibor Administrative District.

This important event is organized with the support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, which is also the general partner of the conference.

Participants can expect panels, expert discussions, B2B meetings, presentations of innovative solutions from the waste management industry, and examples of good practice from the European Union and the region. Special attention will be given to investment opportunities, job creation and the development of green technologies.
