31 May in Bijeljina (Plateau in front of the Bijeljina City Administration)
01 June in Sarajevo (“Children’s House” Novo Sarajevo)
5 June in Zenica (Zenica City Museum) and
12 June in Bihać (Una National Park – Kulen Vakuf)starting at 12 noon.
The event is a combination of panel discussion followed by an interactive exhibition that showcases the support of the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany for agriculture and rural development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is focused on important issues of sustainable development in agriculture and rural development and is intended for representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, representatives of institutions and citizens of all ages in order to educate them about the importance of sustainable practices in these areas, and to provide technical support to Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies in the agricultural sector.
The aim of the event is to highlight the importance of smart agriculture, IT and digitalization, resource efficiency, circular economy, youth and agriculture. This is an opportunity to engage, inform and inspire citizens to take measures to protect the climate, agriculture and rural development in their own sphere of influence. Interactive lectures will bring together users and experts who will speak about the above-mentioned topics, while through the interactive exhibition citizens will present individual actions toward the goals of sustainable development and the EU future of BiH.
As part of the interactive exhibition, 30 interactive postcards with the possibility of public engagement through leaving personal messages will be displayed, showing individual actions toward the goals of sustainable development, as well as 15 interactive posters on topics such as consumerism, lifestyle, CO2 emissions, agriculture, waste management, circular economy and resource efficiency in agriculture. This activity joins the international exhibition of the Austrian Cultural Forum, which has already launched a creative exhibition titled “Climate & Me”.
