On 10 October in Budva, at the Splendid Hotel, the 13th Congress of Women’s Entrepreneurship was held, organized by the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro in cooperation with the Forum of Chambers of Commerce of the Adriatic-Ionian Region.
The aim of the gathering was to provide an interregional perspective on the challenges and best practices in the field of economic equality of women in the Adriatic-Ionian region.
The opening address was given by the President of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Nina Drakić, who emphasized that women are important agents of change, and that harnessing the potential of women’s entrepreneurship will be key to a sustainable and inclusive recovery of economies and societies from crises.
During the Congress, the President of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Nina Drakić, and Đino Sabatini, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Marche Region and Vice President of the AIC Forum, signed a Memorandum of Understanding whose main goal is to strengthen economic cooperation and business growth through the exchange of information and best practices, support for entrepreneurship through cross-border activities, and the development of innovative projects in the fields of green and digital transition, with special emphasis on energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and sustainable mobility.
