The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH was visited by Mr. Haris Jackman, director and president of the
Australian-Bosnian Chamber of Commerce.
A working meeting was held with Emir Pašić, head of the Center for International Cooperation
of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at which the Chamber itself was presented,
as well as the investment potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Haris Jackman presented the Australian-Bosnian Chamber of Commerce,
which was founded by business people originating from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He expressed interest in closer ties between the two chambers, all with the aim of providing
timely and valid information to entrepreneurs from both countries in order to open
the Australian market to Bosnian and Herzegovinian products and services, as well as direct investment by
Australian companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was agreed that the Australian-Bosnian Chamber of Commerce would send a letter
of intent with the aim of joining the membership of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
which would enable it, as a full member, to provide its members with the best possible service and
support.
A formal visit of members of the Australian-Bosnian Chamber to Bosnia and
Herzegovina is planned soon.
