After the successfully organized visit of businesspeople from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the
Antalya Industrial Zone last year, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with
representatives of the Antalya Industrial Zone, Director Ilhan Metin and Gozde Tolonguć, hosted a business delegation from Antalya, which, as part of previously planned activities during its five-day stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 11/10/2023.
On that occasion, the Vice President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, Mirsad Jašarspahić, together with the Federal Minister of Trade, Mr. Amir Hasičević, organized a meeting with businesspeople from Antalya.
Economic indicators of trade exchange between the two countries were presented, as well as
potential and opportunities for investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Hasičević highlighted the untapped potential for the development of business industrial and
free customs zones and invited the guests to see an opportunity in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina and
invest in them.
The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Regional Chamber of
Economy of the Zlatibor Administrative District, on the second working day in Ilidža, at the Austria hotel,
organized bilateral meetings of representatives of Turkish, Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Serbian
companies from the sectors of agriculture, food industry, furniture, metal sector and
chemical industry.
Turkish companies from the greenhouse cultivation sector of organic food expressed interest in
investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina by offering the most modern environmentally sustainable energy systems
for which the Antalya region is known.
For information, greenhouse production by highly technologically organized farmers in Antalya meets the entire tomato demand of the Russian Federation market.
After the bilateral meetings, the Turkish delegation visited the company Klas, which through the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has maintained business ties with businesspeople from Antalya for many years.
During the five-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Turkish delegation visited the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Ziraat Bank BH, and organized tourist tours of Sarajevo and Mostar.
