A business delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by the Federation of BiH Chamber of Economy, took part on 22/02/2024 in Izmir in the opening of the IMATECH 2024 Industrial Technologies Fair.
This is a respectable international trade fair event that every year, organized by IZFAS, brings together the most important manufacturers of industrial production technologies in one place.
The honor of opening this year’s fair, among others, went to the President of the Federation of BiH Chamber of Economy, Mirsad Jašarspahić, who thanked the organizers for their hospitality and long-standing cooperation, as well as for their unconditional support in organizing the participation of BiH businesspeople at the Imatech fair.
“The Republic of Turkey has a strategic location in the heart of the regional trade corridor, with outstanding opportunities and logistical infrastructure that can be used by companies in our region. There is no doubt that fairs are the best places where we can make new friendships and partnerships while developing our businesses,” Jašarspahić emphasized. He particularly referred to the good cooperation with İZFAŞ, with which the Chamber has had excellent cooperation for many years in organizing specialized fairs.

At this year’s IMATECH fair, more than 130 domestic and foreign exhibitors with over 250 brands of these companies are present, meeting with professional visitors to the fair, which also includes companies from Germany, the United States, Australia, Belgium, China, Canada, Poland and Taiwan and their representatives in Turkey. More than 100 professional buyers from many countries, from the Netherlands to Egypt, from Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, from France to Russia, will have the opportunity during the fair to exchange the latest information about new technologies with the possibility of purchasing them directly from the manufacturers themselves.
President Jašarspahić held business meetings on the margins of this fair with representatives of the IMATECH Fair, the organizers of the IZFAŞ fair, as well as with Mr. Hasan Šehović, President of the World Alliance of the Diaspora of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
